good quality for this price point

i have the 5 string yamaha acoustic/electric violin and it fits just fine in here and has space for the bow. very pleased with this item

Beware the Fit

This case has a very hard foam interior which has no flexibility whatsoever. The tailpiece on my 100-year-old violin would not fit into the case. According to Sweetwater, unless you own a Howard Core violin, that is not a problem. The case materials - aside from the lack of a flexible fit - are adequate for the price.
